DEATH ANGEL - Lyric Video For The Dream Calls For Blood Title Track

San Francisco Bay Area Thrash veterans DEATH ANGEL have released a lyric video for the title track of their upcoming new album, The Dream Calls For Blood. The album will be released on October 11 in Germany, October 14 in the UK / Europe and October 15 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.

The follow-up to 2010's Relentless Retribution was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, AUGUST BURNS RED, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ALL THAT REMAINS, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER), and once again features cover art by Brent Elliot White (JOB FOR A COWBOY, CARNIFEX, WHITECHAPEL).

TWILIGHT OF THE GODS - Children Of Cain Lyric Video Released

The lyric video for the song Children Of Cain from the heavy metal "supergroup" TWILIGHT OF THE GODS can be seen below (German viewers again need to use The Force…).

The track comes off the band's debut album, Fire On The Mountain, which will be released on September 27 in Europe and October 1 in North America via Season Of Mist. The effort will be made available as a CD digipack and a limited-edition LP via the Season Of Mist webstore.

WARBRINGER Release Hunter-Seeker Lyric Video

Los Angeles-based thrashers WARBRINGER will release their fourth studio album, IV: Empires Collapse, on October 28 in Europe and October 29 in North America via Century Media Records. A lyric video for the song Hunter-Seeker can now be seen:


IV: Empires Collapse, the studio recording debut for former MANTIC RITUAL members Jeff Potts (guitar) and Ben Mottsman (bass) rounding off WARBRINGER's five-piece lineup, was recorded with producer Steve Evetts (SEPULTURA, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SUICIDE SILENCE), mixed by Brett Eliason (PEARL JAM, HEART) and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (CANNIBAL CORPSE, HATEBREED, CONVERGE). The album's cover artwork was designed by Adrienne Rozzi.

Comments WARBRINGER: "The artwork for Empires Collapse came about from wanting to take a much more focused and simplistic approach. Previous WARBRINGER album covers are extremely detailed, busy works, so it was a conscious decision to have art that was the antithesis of what we had done before.

John Laux came up with the concept, so we had our friend Adrienne Rozzi make up a sketch, which led to us having her follow through with the final piece. It's incredibly different from what most fans would expect for a WARBRINGER album cover, but we wanted the art to visually reflect the music. The piece reminds me of a tarot card illustration and sets a very cryptic, somber vibe which associates well with the music that ties into the album's title."

WARBRINGER will tour North America with KREATOR and OVERKILL between October 27 and November 29. Additionally, WARBRINGER has just been announced to appear at IRON MAIDEN's The Battle Of San Bernardino event on September 13, with additional performances by MEGADETH, ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, SABATON and OVERKILL, making it a night to remember for fans of heavy/thrash metal.

ONSLAUGHT Release New Song Chaos Is King

British thrash masters ONSLAUGHT have released a lyric video for the new song Chaos Is King, taken from their upcoming album, VI. The follow-up to 2011's Sounds Of Violence was mixed by Thomas "Plec" Johansson (TIAMAT, SCAR SYMMETRY) at Panic Room studios in Skara, Sweden and will be out September 20 via AFM Records.

The official lyric video for Chaos Is King can be seen below. Since the video is currently not available in Germany, you can listen to the track via SoundCloud instead.

Comments guitarist Nige Rockett: "Well, the new album, VI, is finally complete and ready to roll on September 20th, and man, it has exceeded all our expectations, by a long long way!! We really pushed ourselves to the limits in making this record and I think that truly shines through in the final results.

VI is the most brutal and technical album ONSLAUGHT has ever made, no question. It's old school, it's contemporary and it's fucking aggressive in the extreme, with a few big surprises thrown in for good measure!

We've gone about the whole album-making process with a completely different approach and mindset this time around, ranging from the artwork (by Pär Olofsson) through to the final mixes with Thomas Johansson, who I must single out for mention along with our drummer Michael Hourihan for really upping the ante in the ass-kicking stakes!

Danish thrashers ESSENCE have just released a new lyric video for the song For The Fallen, coming off the band’s latest album, Last Night Of Solace, which was released via NoiseArt Records in March 2013. The video has been made by Peter Kelkelund and can be seen below.
