Primarily working in the field of digital compositing, KILLUSTRATIONS uses a variety of techniques to create unique imagery between playful surrealism and colourful morbidity. The interdisciplinary works range from music album and apparel artwork to logotype design, photography and basically everything else in the sphere of graphic art.

KILLUSTRATIONS' client list nowadays reads like a Who's Who of today's metal music scene, including renowned bands, labels and festivals from more than 25 countries. Hamburg based German metal band A MILLION MILES have presented the cover artwork for their upcoming album What’s Left Behind.

The cover artwork comes from KILLUSTRATIONS, the German design studio founded and operated by artist Bjoern Goosses.

What's Left Behind, produced at Hammer Studios Hamburg by Eike Freese of Dark Age, is scheduled to hit stores April 5, 2013 via Abandon Records / New Music Distribution.

KILLUSTRATIONS - Cover Artwork For Canadians TITAN'S EVE Released

KILLUSTRATIONS, the German design studio founded and operated by artist Björn Goosses, created the cover artwork for the forthcoming album 'Life Apocalypse' by TITAN'S EVE from Vancouver, Canada.

Killustrations is known for digital graphic designs for clients like e.g. DEW-SCENTED, NERVECELL, MOTORJESUS, HACKNEYED, THE VERY END and NIGHT IN GALES.

Titan's Eve are currently recording their second album 'Life Apocalypse'. The follow-up to their 2011 album 'The Divine Equal' is scheduled for a 2012 release.

DAVIDIAN - Cover Artwork Of Upcoming Album Revealed

Germany's DAVIDIAN have revealed the cover artwork of their upcoming album 'Our Fear Is Their Force'.

As with the 2008 album 'Hear Their Cries', the artwork was designed by KILLUSTRATIONS (a.o. Nervecell, Hackneyed, The Very End, Dew-Scented, Night in Gales and Motorjesus). 

'Our Fear Is Their Force' has been produced by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus/Denmark.  

The album will be released via Massacre Records on February 24, 2012.

The brand new HACKNEYED track 'Maculate Conception' is available for streaming at this location. 'Maculate Conception' is taken from the band’s third album and Lifeforce Records debut 'Carnival Cadavre' to be released August 22nd in Europe and August 30th in North America! 

Commented HACKNEYED on their upcoming Lifeforce Records debut: 

“It’s hard to believe. After two years in-between rehearsal room, shows, being on tour and pre-production we finally managed to get our third album ready to launch. It’s named 'Carnival Cadavre' and will be tested in human experiment at the Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbühl on August 19th 2011 for the first time. Once again we produced our album with Corni Bartels at the Weltraum Studios and Björn Goosses (Killustrations) again purified our disc with a stunning artwork. 

We added another fine portion of groove and brutality for you and showed once again what Hackneyed is made of. With our new label Lifeforce Records we found the matching partner and we’re really looking forward to our future cooperation. We’re curious where our journey with the 'Carnival Cadavre' will lead us within the next weeks and months. And perhaps soon it’s also close to you they say: The Circus’ Back in town!!!”
