HELL Streaming New Single The Age Of Nefarious

Reactivated British occult metal legends HELL are streaming their new single, The Age Of Nefarious, to be released on October 25 via Nuclear Blast Records: The 10-inch vinyl will come in several different colors and will include the title track plus live versions of three songs recorded at this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival.

After disbanding in 1987, HELL was reincarnated in 2011, with Andy Sneap (guitar) and David Bower (vocals) joining original members Kev Bower (guitar, keyboards), Tony Speakman (bass) and Tim Bowler (drums). Now the British quintet is about the release the follow-up to its highly acclaimed 2011 debut, Human Remains.

The band's sophomore offering, Curse And Chapter, will be made available on November 22 via Nuclear Blast. The effort will include a bonus DVD containing six songs from HELL's February 23, 2013 show at the Darwin Suite Assembly Rooms in Derby.

Commented Kev Bower: "In a world dominated by conflict, disease, corruption, poverty, disaster and crime - much of which has religion at its source - this is truly the dawning of The Age Of Nefarious.

The song was always going to be the perfect opener for the new Curse And Chapter album since it lays the foundation for everything which follows, but when we were approached by our friends at Nuclear Blast with the idea of producing a lead-off EP, we also decided that out of four possible EP album-track candidates, this song should also be the one.

It represents everything which HELL represents - it powers along in awe-inspiring majesty, but takes lots of unexpected twists and turns before reaching its inevitable conclusion. The artwork is once again the result of our collaboration with Dan Goldsworthy, and it shows just a tiny fraction of the artwork he has created for Curse And Chapter.

With regard to the additional live tracks, where better to have recorded these than from the main stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2013 - the spiritual home of U.K. metal, during one of the best shows we have ever played, and in front of 10,000 of the most dedicated metalheads in the world.

We are proud to be giving you a glimpse into the second chapter."

GLORYFUL Und HARASAI Im Turock, Essen - Bericht Und Fotos Auf Fotowalther.de

HARASAI @Turock, Essen

Underground Winter
Edition 2012
28.01.2012 - Turock Essen

MYSTERIA Metal Kneipe Schliesst Die Pforten, Abschlussparty Am 27./28.01.

Bitte per e-mail an mysterialmetalkneipe@gmail.com.

Vielen Dank für eure Treue! Rock on!
Eure Mysteria-Crew"

FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK - WE SALUTE YOU!

KATAKLYSM - 'The Iron Will' DVD Cover Revealed And Video Teaser Posted

KATAKLYSM - 'The Iron Will' DVD Cover Revealed And Video Teaser Posted

Montreal based extreme metallers KATAKLYSM will release a multidisc DVD this Spring entitled 'The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined', which features a documentary and bonus CD materials.

The set will depict the ups and downs of the band's long, turbulent career as well as footage of KATAKLYSM's performance at last year's Summer Breeze festival, which took place August 18-20, 2011 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.

The cover art for the release was created by artist Colin Marks (ORIGIN, EXODUS, NEVERMORE).

KATAKLYSM recently recorded the single 'The Iron Will' in Montreal, Canada with guitarist/producer Jean-François Dagenais. It will be mixed by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, BEHEMOTH, MNEMIC) in Denmark and will be made available with a video clip on iTunes one month before the release of 'The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined'.

The video clip for the song 'At the Edge of the World': the footage was taken from the bands hometown show at Club Soda in Montreal, which was part of their recent “Spread the Venom” headlining world tour. 'At the Edge of the World' comes from the bands latest acclaimed album 'Heaven's Venom'. The video clip was filmed by director Tommy Jones (DEATH ANGEL, SOILWORK), who is also helming the bands upcoming Documentary/DVD 'THE IRON WILL: 20 YEARS DETERMINED'.

KATAKLYSM’s latest album 'Heaven’s Venom' was released on August 24th 2010 in North America and sold around 2,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 7 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart and #196 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart, making it the bands highest charting album and their biggest first week sales to date. Heatseekers lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

'Heaven’s Venom' was recorded by KATAKLYSM guitarist J-F Dagenais (MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) and was mixed by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC, DARK TRANQUILLITY).

KATAKLYSM shot a video clip for the song 'Push The Venom' with director Ivan Colic (TYPE O NEGATIVE, UNLEASHED, DEATHSTARS, EX DEO) in Belgrade, Serbia.

NRW Underground Metal Fest

Die Berichte über die "fünf Volltreffer" im Einzelnen: KINGDOM OF SALVATION, FINAL DEPRAVITY, CAUSE FOR CONFUSION, CROSSHEAD, THE VERY END.

METAL BLADE RECORDS Streaming New CANNIBAL CORPSE Song, Studio Footage Online

METAL BLADE RECORDS Streaming New CANNIBAL CORPSE Song

'Demented Aggression', taken from the upcoming CANNIBAL CORPSE album 'Torture', can be streamed via SoundCloud.

'Torture' is set to be released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on March 9, March 12 in Europe and March 13 in North America.

The album can be pre-ordered on the band's official landing page at Metal Blade Records.

This is the official Metal Blade Records press release on 'Torture':

"America's reigning kings of brutality, CANNIBAL CORPSE, will unleash their twelfth studio offering this March via Metal Blade Records. Aptly titled 'Torture', the follow-up to 2009's 'Evisceration Plague' offers up 12 tracks of maniacally precise, soul-searing death metal. 'Torture' was again produced by Hate Eternal's Erik Rutan at his own Mana Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida as well as Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, and features the maniacal cover art by longtime CANNIBAL CORPSE artist, Vincent Locke.

While 'Torture' marks the latest progression in the band's sound, it also witnesses a return to what drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz accurately terms "the frenzied attack of 'Butchered At Birth' (1991) or 'Tomb Of The Mutilated' (1992)," infusing the band's advanced musicianship with the raw savagery that haunted their earlier releases, and in the process conceiving the definitive CANNIBAL CORPSE record.

Adds bassist Alex Webster on the outcome of the record: "We're extremely happy with how 'Torture' turned out. Erik Rutan did an amazing job with the production, and the songwriting and performances may be our strongest yet. We can't wait until our fans get to hear the whole thing!"

Torture Track Listing:
01. Demented Aggression
02. Sarcophagic Frenzy
03. Scourge of Iron
04. Encased in Concrete
05. As Deep As the Knife Will Go
06. Intestinal Crank
07. Followed Home Then Killed
08. The Strangulation Chair
09. Caged…Contorted
10. Crucifier Avenged
11. Rabid
12. Torn Through

As a precursor to the release, CANNIBAL CORPSE will perform a special one-off show at the Culture Room in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 22nd then head to the seas to take part in this year's edition of the 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise. The band will get a short break before a near month-long march through Europe on the Full Of Hate 2012 tour with labelmates Behemoth."

Friday 13 - a bad omen? Not at all! The second edition of NRW Underground Metal Fest was held on this very day, and the kick off for FA's live season 2012 turned out to be a perfect night.

What might have bothered superstitious minds didn't prevent THE VERY END, CROSSHEAD, CAUSE FOR CONFUSION, FINAL DEPRAVITY and KINGDOM OF SALVATION from performing at the top of their game, and a packed Kulturrampe in Krefeld, Germany, from going crazy.

The show was covered by The Pit magazine and photographed by editor Jörg Müller. See the excerpts below and follow the links to browse the full galleries.
