KREATOR's Dying Alive DVD Cracks German Top 10

Dying Alive, the new new concert DVD / Blu-ray from German / Finnish thrash metal veterans KREATOR, has entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 9.

Commented KREATOR mainman Mille Petrozza: "I've never expected Dying Alive to crack the Top Ten in Germany! This just shows again that you, our fans, are THE BEST! Thank you for your support! Let me close this with an Ozzy statement: I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!"

Dying Alive was released on August 30 via Nuclear Blast. The set features the band's sold-out homecoming show in Oberhausen, Germany on December 22, 2012 after an extensive 45-day European tour in support of KREATOR's Phantom Antichrist album. The packed and sweat-driven show was filmed by 24 cameras, as well as guitar and even mosh-pit cams.

The DVD/Blu-ray contains footage of the Oberhausen concert, a behind-the-scenes documentary as well as video clips. Approximate total running time: 115 minutes.

KREATOR - Phantom Antichrist Is Coming To Russia

After extensive North American and European tours in 2012, KREATOR continue to bring the Phantom Antichrist to thrashers worldwide and are about to enter Russia in March.

Commented vocalist/guitarist Mille Petrozza: "Only a few weeks left until we do our very first 16 dates russian tour. In the past we have played only up to four dates but this tour will bring the band to cities that we have never played before.

The schedule of KREATOR’s latest European tour had set Oberhausen in the German Ruhr Area for the grand finale on December 22, 2012 - and the home match for Essen’s thrashers was even more triumphant than already expected.

The accompanying supports FUELED BY FIRE, NILE and MORBID ANGEL had given people a grilling in the sold-out venue, but Kreator topped things off easily and the crowd of approx. 2.500 maniacs just went nuts. 

No doubt about it: Phantom Antichrist, the band’s first release via their new partner Nuclear Blast Records, means another major step forward even for a band already being on top of their game like Kreator are for years now, if not decades.

KREATOR - Civilization Collapse Video Premiere At Metal Hammer UK

Metal Hammer UK has premiered the video for KREATOR’s new single, Civilization Collapse, off the most recent, chart-breaking album, Phantom Antichrist. See the clip at this location.

Civilization Collapse has been released on 7“ vinyl and as digital download via Nuclear Blast on November 9, 2012. 

The single contains the non-album track, Wolfchild, which was released earlier this year on the JOHN SINCLAIR tribute sampler, Dark Symphonies.

KREATOR Reveal 'Phantom Antichrist' Cover Artwork

German thrashers KREATOR have just revealed the cover art of their highly anticipated new album 'Phantom Antichrist'. 

The piece has been created by iconic artworker Wes Benscoter who has worked for heavyweights such as SLAYER, DIO or BLACK SABBATH before. 

The album is currently being produced at the famous Fascination Street Studio with renowned producer Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, SOILWORK, DEVIN TOWNSEND, AMON AMARTH) in Örebro, Sweden. 

'Phantom Antichrist' marks the bands debut for Nuclear Blast and is set to be released June 1, 2012 (Europe), June 5, 2012 (North America). 

As announced earlier, KREATOR will also release an exclusive 7“ single of the titlesong on April 20, 2012.

The collector's item will be available in coloured red vinyl (limited to 250 pieces) as well as in clear vinyl (limited to 250 pieces, exclusively available at the Nuclear Blast Mailorder. 

KREATOR will exclusively perform a new song during their shows at this years METALFEST open air events!
